Non-residential

R W Armstrong has undertaken various non-residential contracts, particularly where a workforce trained in crafts and traditional skills has proved invaluable.

Building projects include the renovation of the Grade II* listed Purley Park Mansion into five luxury apartments for property developer T A Fisher. Built in 1780, the mansion required significant works including major structural repair and the restoration of original features. Armstrong’s expertise has also been vital to the new build of period style homes, such as two town houses built in Guildford for Castillian Developments.

In addition, the company has worked on many community projects. These include a contemporary extension for a school in Hursley and a new village hall, a large extension to luxury care home Headbourne Worthy House, as well as the maintenance of numerous local churches and monuments.
