Without our staff, we have nothing. So that we can keep our promise to our clients, we employ only the best staff.
Our company has very traditional family roots and many employees have followed their fathers into the company, reinforcing the family atmosphere and loyalty that pervades throughout. We work on some exceptional and unique properties, and provide a friendly working environment.
Training and development is a high priority for us. It means that we retain ambitious people and maintain our high levels of integrity and service for the future.
Many of our site managers started as tradesmen, and we have an award winning apprenticeship scheme that has seen hundreds of apprentices employed and supported by R.W. Armstrong & Sons since the 1960’s.
We now support a good number of trainees, annually, providing training to NVQ level over a three to four year period. In October 2004 we achieved Investor in People status.
All of which has helped to retain staff and been an essential contributory factor in the success of our company.
